Dave is an independent investor and frequent contributor to BizRadio. He is the editor of the weekly MoneyMan.com Market Newsletter and publishes his own newsletter, Dave Dyer’s Pick of the Week. He also provides regular radio commentary on BizRadio 1110 AM in Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth or on the internet at http://www.bizradio.com. Dave has a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Michigan, and taught logic and philosophy there and at a small college in upstate New York prior to his business career. He worked for more than 20 years in sales, marketing, program management, and project management positions in the software industry, with a focus on software toolsets for data analysis, project management, and manufacturing process control. About 9 years ago, he gave up corporate life in order to pursue his investment activities on a full-time basis. He has a diverse list of publications including newspaper editorials on social and political topics, and was awarded an international prize for the best genealogy article published in 2003.
